CRIME REPORTS: Girl Stabs Boyfriend, Fiesta Madness and a Ball Bat Burglar

Here are various crimes pulled from the San Clemente police dispatch log over the past few days.

At 3:53 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a grand theft in the 100 block of Mariposa. A girls creme-and-peach-colored beach cruiser was stolen from the caller's back yard the previous evening. 

At 3:00 p.m. Monday, police assisted an outside agency in the 1000 block of Domador. Police assisted firefighters with a 40 to 50 year old mentally challenged man who was found having difficulty breathing in the Casa Blanca condominium pool. Firefighters transported the man to the hospital. 

At 1:23 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 2900 block of Calle Arroyo. There were three minors shooting B.B guns at rabbits in the open hills near the informants house. According to the report police contacted the minors parents.

At 10:07 a.m. Monday, a traffic accident occurred near the Avenida Serra and El Camino Real intersection. Paramedics were needed as a white Ford Fusion and a white Toyota Camry had collided in the intersection. 

At 1:51 a.m. Monday, police arrested a 19-year-old-man in the 1900 block of Via Pimpollo. According to the report, the man had stolen a cell phone from the informant's car and attempted to kill him. The man was taken into custody and bail was set for $50,000.

At 12:15 a.m. Monday, police arrested a 20-year-old man from the 1100 block of Calle Puente The man had broken into Las Palmas Elementary school and was attempting to break into a classroom with a baseball bat. According to the report the man had broken other windows at Las Palmas with the bat. The man was taken into custody and bail was set at $20,000.

At 10:36 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 400 block of Avenida Granada. A subject in a moving truck reported that several people had thrown water balloons at him. The man was upset and was standing by until police arrived. Earlier at 10:22, another caller reported from the 400 block of Costanso that several subjects were throwing water balloons at their furniture delivery man. It was unknown exactly where the balloons were coming from.

At 6:55 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Avenida Cabrillo and Calle Seville intersection. There was a report of subjects tossing beer bottles at people passing by.

At 6:52 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida Del Reposo. There was a large and out of control party where many minors were drinking and using drugs. The residence had two porto-potties and was elaborately decorated with various lights. Intoxicated minors had been coming and going all day and a young man was cut with a knife by his girlfriend while they were in a heated argument.

At 3:42 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Rosa. Police said there were numerous amounts of people drinking alcohol in the street and in the driveway of an apartment. 

At 1:43 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. According to the report, there were two transients getting ready to fight. One of the transients was also seen urinating in public.
