CRIME REPORTS: Burglar on $1M Bond, Asking for Parking Lot Sex

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 2:00 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 2500 block of El Camino Real. The informant reported that a man appeared to be intoxicated as he was fooling around with some plants on Del Commercial.

At 10:47 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance near the south El Camino Real and Avenida Barcelona intersection. The report stated that a chubby man in his early 20s was seen harassing citizens in a parking lot. The man was allegedly asking people for alcohol and sex.

At 9:09 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 53-year-old man in the 3500 block of Camino Mira Costa. The man was arrested on accounts of a burglary and having a warrant out for his arrest. He was taken into custody and bail was set for $1 million.

At 12:47 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a man in his 30s was falling asleep in Baskin Robbins. The informant stated the man was asking them odd questions.

At 2:58 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to conduct a welfare check in the first block of Calle Gaulteria. The report stated that deputies were needed for assist an 18-year-old girl who had a party a needed everyone out of the house. The girl was also upset because a male guest had hit her in the face.

At 10:06 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance in the 300 block of Avenida Santa Margarita intersection. The report stated that a red Ford Explorer was seen driving across the gold course. The driver was in a Halloween costume and drove off into a neighborhood.

At 9:48 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Avenida Montana and Plaza Flora intersection. The informant stated that a group of minors were laying items across the street and observing cars run over them from a cul-de-sac on Figueroa.

At 7:31 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the Calle Agua and Camino De Los Mares intersection. The report stated that three transients were loitering and consuming alcohol in public. Deputies reportedly detained the three subjects.

At 2:11 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that several subjects were throwing punches at a bar there. The informant was reportedly chased down the street and was hiding at Victoria Market.

At 7:02 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Camino El Molino and Camino De Los Mares intersection. The informant reported they were being verbally abused by two male transients who were hanging out on a block wall near a restaurant there.
