CRIME REPORTS: Minors Throw Stuff, Letter Threatens, 'You're Toast'

Here are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 2:15 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Avenida San Pablo and El Camino Real intersection. There were eight minors loitering on San Pablo and threw unknown objects at the informant vehicle as he drove by. 

At 1:40 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Victoria. The informant wanted police to ask the residents to turn down the music and see if they were growing marijuana. The informant suspects they have large growing operation knows they post videos on YouTube.

At 11:32 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported that his white Chevy Silverado was stolen near the Calle De Los Molinos and Calle De Industrias intersection.

At 9:26 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 1800 block of El Camino Real. Two men walked into a 7-Eleven and were believed to be heavily intoxicated or on some kind of drugs. The informant said the two men walked over to the energy drinks and were falling asleep while standing up. The subjects were last seen in the parking lot at Ole Hanson Beach Club.

At 3:43 p.m. Thursday, police arrested a 30-year-old-male in the 100 block of Mariposa. Police reported he had previous charges and there was a warrant out for his arrest. The man was taken into custody, and there was no posted bail amount.

At 2:46 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Montalvo. A California Yellow Cab driver reported he dropped of a woman at at her destination and she refused to pay. 

At 2:37 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a trespasser in the 200 block of Avenida Del Mar. A local transient woman had been loitering outside of a business all day and was aggravating people. 

At 10:08 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the 1200 block of Via Sarmentoso. There were four to five minors running around Bernice Ayer Middle school breaking bottles. Police detained the minors in school’s upper campus area. 

At 7:01 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported they received terrorist threats in the 100 block of Shell Drive. A woman who lives in the Palm Beach mobile home park recieved and anonymous letter saying she is “through, history, and toast.” 

At 12:47 p.m. Wednesday, a 27-year-old-man was arrested in the 200 block of Vista Montana The man was arrested because he grabbed the throat of his roommate at their residence in the Seacrest apartments. The man was taken into custody and has since been released.
