CRIME REPORTS: Mountain Lion Eats Dog, Man on Roof with Gun, Road Rage
Here are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days. `
At 8:54 a.m. Tuesday, police responded to a call of unknown trouble in the first block of Via Cartaya. The informant said their large dog was in a fight with a mountain lion. The mountain lion took of with the large dog.
At 5:17 a.m. Tuesday, police arrested a 30-year-old-man in the 100 block of Avenida Palizada. The man was arrested for standing on his roof and threatening to kill his neighbor with a gun. This had been an ongoing issue and the informant requested that police arrest the man.
At 8:44 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the El Camino Real and Avenida Victoria intersection. A woman informant said a man in a white Chevy Truck was trying to run her off the road and then saw him run into a barber shop.

At 6:24 p.m. Monday, police arrested a 36-year-old-man in near the I-5 freeway and the Camino De Estrella intersection. The man was arrested for driving while under the influence and had a warrant out for his arrest.
At 5:28 p.m. Monday, police responded to a call in the 300 block of Pas De Cristobal. According to the report, there was a group of subjects dropping glass bottles off a ledge near T-Street beach and was almost hitting walkers.

At 9:10 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a group of suspicious people in the 200 block of Avenida Monterey. The subjects were seen standing near their vehicles smoking marijuana and drinking alcohol.
At 3:26 p.m. Sunday, a police responded to a petty theft in the 500 block of Camino De Estrella. A woman was being detained by police on suspicion on shoplifting from the Sears.
At 2:49 p.m. Sunday a caller reported a disturbance in the 2800 block of Camino Capistrano. The informant said there were subjects in a u-haul and were reportedly “higher than a kite.”
At 7:34 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida La Pata. Skateboarders at the Ralph’s Skate Park were being disturbed by a man who was throwing pennies and yelling at them.
At 11:47 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 900 block of Avenida Pico. A group of minors had taken several shopping carts from Walmart and set up a barricade with caution tape. The minors were then seen sitting outside of Taco Bell.
