CRIME REPORTS: Screaming Behind the Liquor Store, Girls Holler at Walmart

Here are various crimes pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 11:35 p.m. Thursday, police responded to a traffic hazard near the Via Amor and Camino La Pedriza intersection in Talega. There was an unoccupied black Cadillac Escalade parked on the wrong side of the street and was partially sticking into the intersection.

At 3:40 p.m. Thursday, police conducted a welfare check near the I-5 freeway and the Camino De Los Mares intersection. There was a man with a shaved head running into traffic lanes heading east bound on Camino De Los Mares. 

At 9:48 a.m. Thursday, police responded to disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Serra. A 45-year-old woman was locked in her bathroom by her roommate during an argument. There was no reported arrest.

At 2:18 a.m. Thursday, police investigated a person down in the 300 block of El Camino Real. There was a belligerent man his 60’s leaving Pizza Port heading towards Palizada. Police said the man was being supported by another male when he fell down, and was bleeding from his head. Police made no further report.

At 7:39 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a two-door blue Honda was stolen from the 900 block of El Camino Real. The caller just bought the vehicle that morning and believed it was stolen by the previous owner who may have a spare key.

At 2:17 p.m. Wednesday, police assisted an outside agency at the I-5 freeway and Avenida Pico. . One of the subjects involved in the accident was airlifted to the hospital. 

At 9:32 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 900 block of Avenida Pico. There were four girls driving around the Walmart parking lot while throwing items out of their vehicle and were yelling at pedestrians.  

At 4:42 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1200 block of Via Visalia. The caller said he was hit by his wife. Police said the caller had been smoking medical marijuana and medicates daily. There was no further report. 

At 3:57 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Avenida Talega and Camino Tierra Grande intersection. The caller was upset because there were minors skateboarding on a access road heading to a water tower. There were no further reports. 

At 9:59 p.m. Tuesday, a caller made a report of unknown trouble near the intersection of South El Camino Real and Avenida Junipero. The caller said they could hear a woman screaming from behind a liqour store. There was no further report.
