At 4:58 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 200 block of Calle Seville. The informant witnessed six subjects with painted faces and dark hoodies checking vehicles for unlocked doors. The subjects were also seen hiding in the bushes.
At 12:28 a.m. Friday, deputies arrested a 65-year-old man near the Camino De Los Mares and Marbella intersection. The man appeared to engaging in unlawful camping and was seen urinating in public. He additionally had a warrant out for his arrest and was taken into custody with no posted bail amount.
At 11:42 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a drunk driver near the Via Pico Plaza and Avenida Pico intersection. The informant reportedly witnessed a driver in a newer Honda Civic driving recklessly in the parking lot. The driver was seen going over a curb and had no headlamps on.
At 10:43 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 24-year-old woman in the 200 block of Avenida Adobe. The woman was arrested on accounts of getting into a heated physical argument with a man. The argument appeared to have initiated in an apartment courtyard. She was taken into custody and bail was set for $50,000.
At 12:54 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 19-year-old man near the Calle Salida and Calle Escuela. The man appeared to have been involved in a traffic accident while under the influence of alcohol. He was detained by the police and eventually cited and released for the offense.
At 5:10 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a drunk driver near the east Avenida Pico and Camino Vera Cruz intersection. The informant stated two men appeared to be intoxicated in a maroon Chevy Trailblazer as there was vomit on the outside of the doors. The vehicle additionally had a shattered window.
At 4:18 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 2400 block of Courte Merlango. The informant reportedly witnessed a woman performing oral sex on a man in a vehicle. The vehicle was parked near a little park at the Pacific Point Apartment complex.
At 11:14 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious person near the Camino De Los Mares and Avenida Vaquero intersection. The report stated that a transient man was detained as a result of yelling and screaming while at a street corner. There was no report of an arrest.
