CRIME REPORTS: Punched by Coke Dealer, Girlfriend Beats Man
These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.
At 4:51 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a traffic hazard in the 900 block of Avenida Pico. According to the report, a large tree had fallen down into the west bound lane of Pico.
At 3:30 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 2400 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a man called from the Travel Lodge Motel and requested assistance from deputies because he was being harassed by three men.
At 12:12 a.m. Friday, deputies arrested a 21-year-old-man in the 100 block of Avenida De La Estrella. According to the report, a man driving a truck hit the informant’s grey Jeep Grand Cherokee on the passenger side. The man was suspected of being intoxicated.

At 11:39 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 500 block of Via Delfin. According to the informant, he was punched in the face by a cocaine dealer and wanted to speak with a deputy so they did not come after him.
At 10:06 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Via Marquita. According to the report, the informant’s white 2004 Ford Van was stolen from their driveway the previous night. The vehicle was last seen at 7:00 p.m.

At 10:02 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance in the 700 block of Avenida Pico. The report stated that roughly 75 minors were seen running around the upper campus of San Clemente High School The informant did not know what they were up to and police inspected the situation on foot. There was no report of an arrest.
At 9:26 p.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 30-year-old man in the 2300 block of El Camino Real. According to the report, a man was taken into custody while police were conducting a bar check at the pub there. Bail was set for $500.00.
At 6:28 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 100 block of Marquita. According to the report, a man dressed in all black was seen climbing a telephone pole.
At 4:28 a.m. Thursday, deputies arrested a 26-year-old woman in the 200 block of El Portal. The report stated the woman came out of a residence and started beating on her boyfriend and caused a laceration to him eye. She was taken into custody and bail was set for $50,000.00.
At 7:53 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of La Ronda. According to the report, four minors were seen smoking marijuana. There was no report of an arrest.
