CRIME REPORTS: Teens in Underwear Flash Motorists

At 10:38 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a hit and run in the 900 block of El Camino Real. The informant reportedly witnessed the a white van hit a parked car at they made a right hand turn out of a parking lot. The driver was suspected of being intoxicated. 

At 8:18 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a drunk in public near the Mendocino and Avenida Del Presidente intersection. The report stated there was a drunk transient woman in pink jeans urinating on herself. Firefighters were also responding to the call.

At 5:42 p.m. Monday, a caller reported an abandoned vehicle near the Cristianitos Road and I-5 freeway intersection. The report stated there was an abandoned Honda Accord where surfers check the waves. The vehicle reportedly had “just married” written on the window. 

At 4:34 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 900 block of Avenida Talega. The informant reportedly witnessed a group of minors throwing cans of soda at golfers on the Talega gold course near the 17th hole. 

At 12:08 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a drunk in public in the 200 block of Avenida Palizada. The informant reportedly found an extremely drunk woman passed out on the ground between two cars in an apartment complex. 

At 3:31 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 700 block of Avenida Pico. The informant was a teacher from San Clemente High School and reported there was a group of middle-school-aged boys skateboarding on the roof of the school. The boys appeared to be near the entrance to the pool. 

At 1:19 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance near the Camino De Los Mares and Calle Agua intersection. Deputies reportedly detained three-teenaged girls for standing on a center meridian in their underwear and taking them off as drivers went by. The informant was concerned because it was past curfew. 

At 8:59 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a firework violation in the 2000 block of Domador. The report stated there was a group of subjects shooting off illegal fireworks and were possibly coming from a party. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 3:05 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance near the Camino Costado and Camino Cachones intersection The report stated that the informant’s ex-wife had returned to his house in a black Lexus and started to pour bleach on his clothes. 

At 10:23 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a stolen vehicle in the 200 block of Via Socorro. The report stated that the informant’s Toyota Tacoma pickup truck was taken from their driveway around 10:00 p.m the previous night.
