CRIME REPORTS: Violent Litterer, Drunk Punches Woman, Fake Money
Here are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.
At 2:54 p.m. Monday, police assisted an outside agency in the 900 block of Avenida Pico. There was a report of counterfeit money at the Beauty Source store and the Secret Service was called to investigate the situation.
At 1:56 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 3900 block of Calle Mayo. The informant reported that someone was throwing rocks at the construction workers and their vehicles who working on her home.
At 1:10 a.m. Monday, police arrested a 39-year-old-man in the 200 block of Avenida Montalvo. The man was heavily intoxicated when he punched a woman in the face. The man was taken into custody and bail was posted at $50,000.

At 4:58 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of Loma Lane. The informant saw a man throw trash on the ground and when he said “hey, what are you doing,” the man pulled out a pare of pruning shears and threatened the informant. The informant immediately walked home and called police.
At 3:20 p.m. Sunday, police arrested a 21-year-old-man in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. The young man was driving without a license and police said he was acting very nervous. Police reported he had previous charges and a passenger told police he was coming down off heroin. The male was taken into custody and has since been released.

At 12:57 p.m. Sunday, police arrested a 47-year-old-man was arrested near the North Ola Vista and Avenida Victoria. The man was detained for a possible DUI. The man was taken into custody and has since been released.
At 11:00 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Del Mar. Reportedly, there were four subjects in the back of The Shore restaurant threatening each other and mentioning knifes.
At 12:36 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported hearing gun shots in the 300 block of Avenida Vaquero. The informant said they heard four to six gunshots from directly behind his house.
At 12:29 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of El Camino Real. There was a rowdy situation occurring at Duke's bar and the bouncer knocked a man unconscious. There was also a report of possible knife injuries.
At 10:36 p.m. Friday, police assisted an outside agency in the 100 block of Calle Amistad. Police advised animal control to respond for two dogs that were locked in a van. The dogs were barking uncontrollably and appeared distressed.
