CRIME REPORTS: Woman Flashes Knife, Pantsless Transient

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 11:06 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 300 block of Avenida Cabrillo. The informant reported that a group of subjects were standing outside their home talking loudly and drinking alcohol. Deputies were dispatched responded to the call.

At 8:36 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 1800 block of Avenida Estacion. The report stated several subjects were tossing rocks at passing trains near Califia State Beach. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 1:20 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 100 block of Avenida Dominguez. The informant reportedly witnessed a man sitting inside of a parked GMC van and tossing pieces of trash out the window. The informant thought the man did not belong there.

At 11:11 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported finding lost property near the West El Portal and El Prado intersection. The informant found an ammunition box with multiple bullet casings scattered around the box. 

At 8:01 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to a report of a person down in the 100 block of Mariposa. A man with a shaved head and a pony-tail had passed out in the street. Half his body was in the street and his pants were down. The subject could have possible been a transient.

At 4:45 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 23-year-old woman in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. The woman was taken into custody for stealing from the CVS. She was taken to the woman’s central jail and there was no posted bail amount. 

At 4:34 p.m. Sunday, deputies arrested a 19-year-old woman in the 1700 block of Estacion for brandishing a weapon. The woman possibly on some kind of narcotics and appeared to be messing around with a knife at North Beach train station. She was taken into custody and has since been released on a bond. 

At 6:12 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 600 block of Avenida Victoria. The report stated that a group of drunk men were in the area and refused to leave when asked. There was no report of an an arrest. 

At 4:42 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 1000 block of Calle Del Cerro. The informant reported that their neighbor was chasing their children and was threatening to slit their throats. 

At 4:22 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a reckless driver near the Avenida Vista Hermosa and Calle Frontera intersection. The informant reported that a driver has having a case of road rage and proceeded to throw objects at them from their vehicle. 

At 12:27 p.m. Saturday, deputies were dispatched to investigate a person down in the 200 block of Avenida Santa Barbara. The report stated that a drunk man had passed out while leaning against a wall. The informant was concerned because the subject has a history of being violent.
