CRIME: Jogger Hit With Pellet Gun

Selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log during the past few days.

At 2:23 a.m. Friday, deputies arrested a 30-year-old man in the 200 block of Avenida Magdelena after an informant reported a dark sedan on the golf course with bright lights and playing loud music.

At 1:54 a.m. Friday, an informant reported a disturbance in the 1400 block of Calle Valle. Several males broke a sign and were using the pieces to hit each other.

At 8:09 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported suspicious people in the 300 block of Paseo De Cristobal. The caller said the people kept getting close to a mostly-girls party at a fire pit on the beach between T-Street and the pier.

At 7:39 p.m. Thursday, an informant in the 2900 Block La Ventana said suspects in a dark car shot him several times with an airsoft pellet gun while he was jogging.

At 2:03 a.m. Thursday, an informant reported suspicious people in the 100 block of Alameda Lane: a dark vehicle on the pier with multiple people shining flashlights into restaurants.

At 5:21 p.m. Wednesday, deputies arrested a 47-year-old man in the 1100 Block Buena Vista after an alleged family dispute.

At 4:14 p.m. Wednesday, deputies arrested a 34-year-old man in the 100 block of Loma Lane.

At 9:46 a.m. Wednesday, an informant reported a disturbance in the 800 block of El Camino Real. A man wearing a blue baseball cap, button-down shirt and jeans was in a store being disruptive and refusing to put out his cigarette. The man had been in and out of the store several times and was reportedly threatening the informant and other customers. The informant told him he was calling the cops and the man said to bring them on.

At 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, deputies arrested a 37-year-old man at the Calle De Los Molinos and Calle Valle intersection after being pulled over. He was cited and released.

At 5:40 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported five suspicious people near the North El Camino Real and Avenida Palizada intersection. They were in the alley behind the 7-Eleven selling narcotics.

At 4:52 p.m. Tuesday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 0 block of Via Adrian. The caller said a 20something male in a dark gray sedan kept driving around the area and parking in different spots in the cul-de-sac.
