CRIME: Wife Stabs Husband, Man Harasses Female Shoppers

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 9:03 am on Thursday, a man was at San Clemente hospital at the 600 block on Camino de los Mares harassing nurses for medication. Informant said the man was threatening the nurses with violence. 

At 8:20 am on Thursday, a caller reported a man passed out on a patio on the 200 block of Marquita. The caller was unsure whether the subject was sleeping or dead. 

At 1:53 am on Thursday, a petty theft was reported from a drug treatment center at the 100 block on Christianitos Road. The subject was found with the pills, which were a controlled substance. An employee of the drug treatment center was the one to report the theft. The informant said the 19-year-old man stole not only his pills, but also the pills of another patient. The subject has a history of anxiety and was reported wearing a navy SDCC hoodie. Paramedics were also called in case the subject over dosed on the stolen pills.

At 9:03 pm on Wednesday, a disturbance was reported at the 1800 block of El Camino Real. A man refused to leave a store and while there, he harassed the female customers who entered the store. He was reported to be in his thirties and bald. 

At 2:28 pm on Wednesday, a suspicious person was reported at the 100 block on Avenida del Poniente. The informant reported that the man has been stalking her and knows that he has a criminal history. Her neighbor stated the subject was last seen about an hour and a half prior to the call. Informant is afraid the subject is still in the area. The subject drives a beige Chevy pick-up truck.

At 2:00 am on Wednesday, a man was reported for masturbating in the hallway outside of his apartment at the 200 block on Avenida Victoria. 

At 12:40 pm on Tuesday, a disturbance was reported at the 100 block on Avenida Presido. One male was detained and one woman took off. The man remains in custody with bail set at $50,000. 

At 1:07 am on Tuesday, the Irvine Police Department called for help detaining a woman who allegedly stabbed her husband in Irvine before heading to San Clemente. Police were called to the 1100 block of Calle del Cerro to follow up on the alleged assault with a deadly weapon.
