CRIME REPORTS: T-Shirt Shop Burglarized, 'Strange' Structure
Selected reports from the San Clemente police dispatch log over the last few days.
At 12:31 a.m. Friday, police arrested a 19-year-old-man in the 1200 block of El Camino Real. According to the report, the man broke into the T-Shirt Outlet Factory on Presidio and Avenida Victoria. The report stated that the man and two others broke a window and ran out of the store with an armful of t-shirts. Firefighters were requested because a subject experienced a facial injury.
At 9:58 p.m. Thursday, police assisted an outside agency near the Avenida Del Presidente and East Avenida Cristianitos Road intersection. The report stated that a K-9 was requested for a vehicle search at Camino De Estrella and the I-5 freeway.
At 7:05 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle in the 300 block of Pas De Cristobal. According to the report, a subject was seen throwing trash out of a white Ford Explorer and was in a verbal argument with the informant. The informant suspected the subject was on some kind of narcotic.

At 5:02 p.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 900 block of Avenida Pico. According to the report, the informant was concerned about a male subject you was playing around with a pellet gun in the front seat of a Volkswagen. Police reported detaining one subject.
At 10:51 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a hit-and-run on a parked car in the 200 block of Trafalgar. The informant's vehicle was reportedly hit by a silver Toyota Tacoma on Avenida Cadiz. The Tacoma was last seen making a right onto Ola Vista.

At 10:19 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 600 block of Camino De Los Mares. According to the report, a woman was seen hitting a young boy across the face and pulling on his ear in front of the flame broiler. The boy was sitting at a table with a young girl and appeared to be very upset.
At 9:19 a.m. Thursday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance near the Costero Risco and Camino Vera Cruz intersection. According to the report, someone had erected a structure on a tall pole with a stuffed “Goofy” animal on it, and dog "doo-doo" bags. This structure was placed on the hiking trail above the water tower hiking trail.
At 10:35 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Granada. The informant reported she was in a heated verbal argument with her boyfriend and that he had several meth pipes in a drawer. Police separated the two subjects there was no report of an arrest.
At 4:54 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 600 block of Avenida Victoria. According to the report, five high-school-aged youths were seen skateboarding on the roof of a bathroom next to the railroad crossing arms at the pier.
At 4:17 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a disturbance near the North El Camino Real and Calle De Los Molinos intersection. According to the report, the informant was reporting being hit by someone with a stick. The dispatchers could hear a woman’s voice in the background and suspected it was local transient woman known as Claudie.
