Cyclist Sustains Minor Injuries in Car Collision

A motorist hit a cyclist at the intersection of West Avenida de los Lobos Marinos and South Ola Vista.

A cyclist sustained minor injuries after a 90-year-old woman struck her in a vehicle Monday morning.

Kris Concepcion of the Orange County Fire Authority said paramedics were dispatched to the intersection of West Avenida de los Lobos Marinos and Ola Vista at 9:35 a.m.

They cared for the cyclist at the scene and sent her to Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo with minor injuries; such that paramedics didn't need to accompany her on the way to the hospital.

The Orange County Register reports local resident Janis Wyatt, 90, was driving a 1987 Chrysler that hit bicyclist Angela Peebles, 39, of Laguna Niguel as Peebles traveled south on Ola Vista.
