Deputies Arrest Wanted Man

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, burglary, possible gunshots, and a suspicious man.

At 9:18 p.m. Saturday, deputies arrested a 32-year-old man during a pedestrian check on the cross streets of Buena Vista and Dije Court. The man had a warrant out for his arrest, and was bailed out of jail by Sunday afternoon.

At 6:46 a.m. Saturday, a concerned caller reported a burglary in the 0 block of Via Pico Plaza. The informant stated that a glass front door had been shattered. When deputies arrived to investigate, no suspects were found inside.

At 11:26 p.m. Saturday, an informant reported hearing gunshots in the 3200 block of Legendario. The caller explained that two people were fighting and shortly after, the gunshots were heard. No arrest was made.

At 8:40 a.m. Sunday, a caller told the sheriff’s department about a suspicious person in the 400 block of Linda Lane. The informant said a man near the pier seemed under the influence of various drugs.
