Deputies Track Down Missing Persons
SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Students drink more than just milk at school and a transient finds a public place to take an afternoon snooze.
At 8:15 a.m. Monday Dec. 16, deputies received a report that a father went missing near the El Camino Real-Calle Valle intersection. Minutes later, deputies located the wayward dad.
At 10:26 a.m. Monday Dec. 16, another missing adult was reported, this time from 200 block of Avenida de la Grulla. The caller said his girlfriend said she was stepping out for a minute, and that was 40 minutes ago. Deputies scoured the area and headed down to the beach and pier area. They also asked assistance from the woman’s cell phone provider. Next, they headed to North Beach, walking along the sand. The woman was spotted south of Tower 12 and returned to her boyfriend about an hour after the first call.

At 11:48 a.m. Monday Dec. 16, a caller reported drunk students at San Clemente High School’s upper campus.
At 2:30 p.m. Monday Dec. 16, someone reported a transient passed out on a bus bench on El Camino Real at Avenida Aragon.
