CRIME REPORTS: Transient Woman Rampages

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log throughout the past few days.

At 10:11 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to help keep the peace in the first block of Avenida Cornelio. The informant requested assistance from police because her boyfriend was threatening to throw all of her belongings out of their residence while she was at work.

At 9:37 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance in the 100 block of Canada. The report stated that a group of minors were seen smoking and drinking alcohol on the side parking lot of Rite Aid. There was no report of an arrest. 

At 5:12 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Camino De Los Mares. The report stated that a local transient woman had wandered into the Hairwaves Beauty Salon and started to yell at the customers. The informant suspected the woman was extremely intoxicated.

At 8:34 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to conduct a follow up report in the 200 block of Avenida Monterey. The informant wished to speak with a deputy regarding a subject who threw a bottle at their vehicle. 

At 7:48 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Del Mar. The informant reported that several minors were seen attempting a woman over who was in an electric wheel chair. The minors had skateboards and were seen near the Public Library.

At 7:36 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 100 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a local transient woman was seen urinating in front of La Rocco’s Pizza. 

At 2:25 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance near the El Camino Real and Avenida Palizada intersection. The report stated that a local transient woman was detained at 7-Eleven for hitting vehicles and pushing a woman against a wall in the DeNaults Hardware parking lot. 

At 10:09 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance in the 100 block of Avenida Junipero. The report stated that a group of at least 50 minors were seen walking down the street and knocking stuff over in citizen’s yards. 

At 7:39 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a traffic accident with unknown injuries in the 800 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a motorcyclist was seen attempting to help another rider who had crashed in the street. Firefighters were responding even though both riders reported there were no injuries. 

At 7:20 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 400 block of El Camino Real. The report stated that a local transient woman was seen urinating and defecating next to a local business. The informant did not want the woman near the building.
