Drunk Driver Hits Car, Orders Another Drink

At 4:21 p.m. Thursday Jan. 16, deputies received a call about a traffic accident in the 400 block of El Camino Real. The caller said a drunk man in a white Ford hit the caller’s car while parking in front of a local restaurant. The intoxicated man then walked into the restaurant and ordered another drink. Deputies arrived and arrested a 54-year-old man who has since been released from jail after his bond was posted.

At 1:42 p.m. Thursday Jan. 16, a concerned caller reported a suspicious person near the cross streets of Camino Del Rio and Camino de Los Mares. A baby in a car seat was in the bed of a tan pickup.
At 3:03 p.m. Thursday Jan. 16, a caller asked for assistance near the cross streets of Calle Cuervo and Avenida San Pablo. The caller said a screaming man approached him and said a loose pit bull attacked him and his dogs. Animal Control arrived to settle the situation.
At 1:30 a.m. Thursday Jan. 17, someone reported a disturbance in the 200 block of El Camino Real. A bouncer was holding down a drunk man who was starting fights inside a local bar.
