Drunk Man Confused About Who Stole his Not-Wallet

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a drunken driver swerves through traffic, a man has an allegedly crazy night, and a possible drug deal going down.

At 1:58 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 7, a caller reported a disturbance in the 500 block of El Camino Real. A drunk man in a 7-Eleven was upset after he believed someone in the store stole his phone and wallet. The caller explained the man was too drunk to realize the alleged phone and wallet were not even his own.

Also:

At 5:39 p.m. Monday Jan. 6, someone reported a drunken driver in the 600 block of Camino de Los Mares. The caller said a car on the freeway was swerving all over the place. Another caller reported the driver a few minutes later.

At 2:14 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 7, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a suspicious person near the cross streets of North Ola Vista and Avenida del Mar. An unknown man claimed two people pulled a gun on him and stole $500 from him. The man then claimed deputies tackled him, and afterwards patrons of a 7-Eleven abducted him. It is unknown whether this item is related to the first in today's blotter.

At 9:40 a.m. Tuesday Jan. 7, a caller told deputies about a suspicious person in a truck near the cross streets of North El Camino Real and Canada. The caller said a man in a black truck was possibly dealing drugs.
