A Thanksgiving Cat Killing?

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, an man gets verbal with employees, a group of teens celebrates the end of fall by throwing pumpkins, and someone didn't make it home from Thanksgiving.

At 2:12 a.m. Thursday Nov. 28, a worried caller told deputies about a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Palizada. The caller explained two men were running around screaming they had just killed a cat.

At 9:37 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 27, someone reported a disturbance in the 900 block of Avenida Pico. The caller said a 30-year-old man was being verbally aggressive toward employees of a local business. The angry man then walked out of the building towards a local Walmart.

At 4:28 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 27, deputies received a report of a disturbance in the 600 block of Calle Vincente. A group of teens was throwing pumpkins and trash down a hillside.

At 3:38 a.m. Thursday Nov. 28, deputies stopped a vehicle for reckless driving near the cross streets of West Canada and El Camino Real. They discovered the man was drunk and arrested him. The 22-year-old has since been released from jail.
