DUI Patrols to Roam San Clemente, San Juan and Dana Point Friday Night
Sheriff's deputies will be on the lookout for drunk motorists.
Friday night party-goers beware—the Orange County Sheriff's Department will be out in force looking for drunken drivers in San Clemente, Dana Point and San Juan Capistrano.
The extra patrols will be prowling the streets with the specific assignment to find and arrest drunk drivers Friday night, targeting areas that have a history of DUI-related arrests and collisions, according to a department release.
Funding for the program is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the release states.
