CRIME REPORTS: Urinating Minors and Golf Course Mountain Lion

Here are various reports pulled from the San Clemente police dispatch log over the past few days.

At 9:28 p.m. Monday, police assisted an outside agency near the Calle Agua and Camino De Los Mares intersection. According to the report, a mountain lion was seen running around on a golf course. Reports do not indicate whether the mountain lion had paid its green fee.

At 8:22 p.m. Monday, a caller reported an act of fraud in the 200 block of El Camino Real. A woman had been drinking at the and took off without paying her bill. She was last seen heading northbound in a dark gray Jeep Cherokee.

At 10:11 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 100 block of El Camino Real. The informant reported that a homeless woman had taken her shopping cart and was slamming it into the of the .

At 12:08 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a family disturbance in the 2900 block of Carta Taza. According to the report, the informants 16-year-old daughter was freaking out, set off a fire extinguisher and was throwing things around the house.

At 3:34 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a petty theft in the 1800 block of El Camino Real. The informant reported that a man with curly hair ran into a and stole a 24oz bottle of beer. The man was last seen jumping into a white Toyota Camry with Colorado state plates and was being driven by a woman.

At 2:12 p.m. Sunday, police arrested a 20-year-old woman near the Calle La Quinta and Calle Casino intersection. According to the report, a blond woman ran over a stop sign in a grey PT Cruiser and appeared to be intoxicated or on some kind of narcotics. The informant was standing by because the woman was attempting to leave. She was taken into custody and has since been released. 

At 10:15 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a suspicious circumstance near the Avenida Florencia and Calle Mirador intersection. The informant reportedly saw 15 to 20 minors running into traffic and distracting drivers. The minors then proceeded to urinate on homes in the area. 

At 7:07 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a traffic hazard in the first block of Avenida Merida. According to the report, a dog was badly injured and was causing a disturbance in traffic. A concerned citizen took the dog and waited for animal control to arrive. 

At 11:33 a.m. Saturday, police assisted firefighters with a situation near the Camino El Molino and the Camino De Los Mares intersection. A man had climbed over a restricted gate of an I-5 freeway bridge to drink his coffee. The man appeared to be cordially drinking his coffee at the edge of a freeway bridge. Fire station ten responded to the call. 

At 10:47 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a drunk driver near the North El Camino Real and Mariposa intersection. According to the report, a driver in a 97 Dodge was seen swerving all over the road and was doing about 15 mph.
