Intoxicated Man Is Beaten Inside His Own Home

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a group of suspicious teens, a 1 a.m. party disturbs residents, and a medical emergency.

At 7:11 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 20, a caller reported battery in the 600 block of Calle Canasta. The caller claimed two women and a man had beaten him inside his residence and were still inside his home. Deputies reported while the caller had been drinking, the alleged oppressors had not.

Also:

At 7:45 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 19, an informant called the sheriff’s office to report a group of suspicious people in the 600 block of Avanida Victoria. The caller said 10 teens were being rowdy and acting suspicious. Deputies arrived to investigate the situation. No arrest was made.

At 1:51 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 20, an angry informant reported a disturbance in the 200 block of Avanide Vista Montana. The caller explained a loud party was happening next door, and the party goers were beating on the walls.

At 6:40 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 20, a concerned caller asked deputies for assistance in the 700 block of Calle Vallarta. The informant stated an 87-year-old man was not breathing and was unsure if it was too late to perform CPR. Orange County firefighters quickly arrived to assist.

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
