Bathroom Drug Users Booted from Store

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also... stumbling drunks, electricity theft and a screaming man.

At 9:56 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported a suspicious group of people in the 600 block of El Camino Real. A man and two women were reportedly sitting in a car after being kicked out of a store for using meth in the bathroom. The caller asked them to leave, but the trio stayed in the car.

At 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, a caller reported three men drunk in public near South El Camino Real and Avenida Magdalena. The informant said the men were stumbling down the street carrying a duffel bag filled with liquor.

At 1:06 p.m. Wednesday, an informant told deputies about unauthorized electricity use in the 100 block of Calle Seville. A woman in a wheelchair was charging her cell phone using an outdoor electrical outlet at a business. When the informant asked her to leave, she refused.

At 5:32 p.m. Wednesday, someone called to report a man sitting on a park bench and yelling loudly at pedestrians in the 600 block of Avenida Victoria.

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
