Minivan to Man Punching It: What Did I Ever Do to You?

At 2:15 a.m. Thursday Jan. 9, someone called the sheriff’s office to report a suspicious person in the 100 block of Avenida de La Estrella. A man in a brown shirt was punching a gray minivan. Deputies arrived and arrested the 26-year-old, who has since been released from jail.


At 9:14 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 8, a worried caller reported an unconscious person in the 300 block of El Camino Real. The caller said when the sprinklers went off, the passed out man did not move.

At 9:55 p.m. Wednesday Jan. 8, a concerned caller asked deputies for assistance near the cross streets of East Avenida Pico and Gateway Village. An elderly man in boxers and no shoes was wandering on the sidewalk.

At 1 a.m. Thursday Jan. 9, a caller told deputies about a drunk man in the 500 block of Camino de Estrella. An extremely intoxicated man was walking around a gas station parking lot looking for beer.
