A 22-year-old Buena Park man was behind bars today on suspicion of trying to molest a 13-year-old girl he met online.

Jordon Bresyn was arrested Friday on suspicion of child annoyance at the San Clemente Pier, according to Orange County sheriff's Lt. Jeff Hallock. He was being held in lieu of $200,000 bail, Hallock said.

Bresyn has not been charged, but prosecutors are expected to file a case against him today, Hallock said.

Bresyn became acquainted with the girl through a dating website several months ago and tracked down her cellphone number on the social media site, Instagram, Hallock said.

Bresyn started sending text messages to the girl and allegedly sent lewd photographs of himself to the victim and asked that she reciprocate, Hallock said.
