Man Injured in Capo Beach Garage Blast Dies

More than a month after the explosion, the 31-year-old succumbs to his injuries.

The Coroner's Office today identified a 31-year-old man who died at an area hospital Friday from injuries suffered during a house fire in Capistrano Beach in November.

Lee Haumea Seramur died from his injuries at 2:56 p.m. Friday at Western
Medical Center in Santa Ana.

Seramur was injured during a house fire about noon on Nov. 5 at 26862
Vista Del Mar.

Investigators think a THC extraction lab may have caused the explosion, which witnesses said sent a fireball into the air, knocking windows off of neighboring houses and blowing the garage door through a neighbor's chain link fence.
