That accident was horrible. I have pictures, those cars are totalled. Some jar heads are just irresponsible. And they fight for our country? Really?

Don't knock the marines. They are doing a wonderful service for this country. Just because a stupid idiot got drunk and drove who happened to be a marine is no reason to knock the marines. There are a lot of other people who drink and drive that are not marines. My daughter was one of the people diving out of the way of the truck.

I understand one single guy chose to make a mistake, but the fact that he is a marine has nothing to do with it. My husband has an extra pair of camis if you would like to try them on. Until you fight for your country and put yourself in line of danger, keep your mouth shut about those who risk everything.

Ms. .S.C: How dare you not comply with the attitude of Military exceptionalism! Defying the sanctity these 21st century warriors with your inflammatory remarks is unbecoming of one of your caste; now make sure you wave that Imperialist flag that much harder to atone for your grave sins, surf! LRJ5, tell me, how do you justify the ramped drug use, prostitution and crime rates committed and directly correlated to this belligerent occupational force, err... Marines? Perhaps the most heinous being the drug dealing/theft that played out like a scene from a Soprano's episode. http://www.utsandiego.com/uniontrib/20080826/news_1m26marines.html

Part II: Stacey P: Keep drinking that Kool-aid and using that keyboard warrior attitude on the net, dear; it makes you stand even more as an unwanted foreigner amongst us locals--we know you're only here because your welfare check (or spouses ill-gotten gains from a State sanctioned murder stipend) 'affords' you the opportunity to escape rural/back water Montana or where ever you came from. Better yet, could you delve into the sordid orgies and homo-sexual parties bestowed upon the partner/spouse of those select few who don those 'cami's' and depart to sea? And then you can rationalize how that is done to protect 'our Country with everything they have' while they sit in an a/c cooled room on a base 'piloting' a drone over a village in goat-herding Pakistan or Yemen or any of the other 5-6 ongoing illegal wars, whihc are 100's miles away from the 'target.' Do yourself a favor and buy Chalmers Johnson's book 'Blowback: The Costs and Consequences of American Empire' as the first step in escaping your deluded, cult-like behavior in order regain your sanity.
