Missing Child Found
SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, an open house thief, a man sells illegal merchandise, and pre-Halloween shenanigans.
At 1:06 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 30, a concerned informant reported a missing child in the 2400 block of Via Turqueza. The caller claimed the child’s teacher had walked him to the bus stop, however had not seen him since. Deputies began searching for the child and discovered he had simply boarded the wrong bus. Deputies drove the child home, where he was reunited with his family.

At 12:16 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 30, someone reported a petty theft in the 2100 block of Via Teca. The caller claimed someone had stolen medication from the residence during an open house.
At 1:17 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 30, deputies received a call of a suspicious person in the 900 block of Avenida Pico. A man was selling fake designer jackets out of his black SUV.
At 10:13 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 30, someone reported a disturbance near East Avenida Pico and the 5 Freeway. A group of teens was throwing water balloons at cars on the northbound off-ramp.
