Multiple Residents Report Gun Shots

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a suspicious stalker, an argumentative trespasser is arrested, and a very tired woman.

At 11:59 p.m. Saturday Nov. 2, a caller told deputies about shots heard in the 100 block of Calle Amistad. The caller claimed to have heard seven gunshots from the canyon behind his home. At midnight, another caller phoned the sheriff’s office, claiming to have heard at least five gunshots and also seen suspicious flashes of light.

At 12:13 a.m. Saturday Nov. 2, a worried caller reported a suspicious person in the 3100 block of Inclinado. The caller claimed she had recently seen a man walk through her backyard and heard movement in the bushes behind her home.

At 12:21 a.m. Saturday Nov. 2, deputies received a call about a disturbance in the 200 block of Avenida Pelayo. The allegedly intoxicated caller reported a verbal regarding a trespassing issue. Deputies arrived and arrested a 63-year-old man. He is currently in custody with a $500 bail amount posted.

At 12:22 a.m. Sunday Nov. 3, a caller reported a suspicious woman in the 200 block of Avenida Santa Barbara. The informant claimed a woman had come to the door of his home asking to use the restroom. The wife of the caller let the woman inside, and then found the woman passed out in one of their children’s beds
