No Emergency, Just More Nuclear Siren Tests Today
Tests, audible in the southern part of town, will commence at 8 a.m. and run to 1 p.m.
Don’t be alarmed by the sound of emergency sirens Wednesday morning.
The San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station will be conducting a drill at the plant on Wednesday, Oct. 26 from 8 a.m.- 1 p.m. The sirens at the plant itself will be sounded, and may be audible in Southern San Clemente, according to an email from the city.
