OCSD Wants Your Drugs

Saturday is prescription drug take back day in the city of San Clemente.

Worried about your old, unused prescriptions ending up in the wrong hands or in the water supply?

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, you can take them the San Clemente Police Services at 100 Avenida Presidio for safe disposal, according to the city website.

Can't make it Saturday? The authorities say you shouldn't flush medications down the toilet. Instead, mix them up with coffee grounds or cat litter and let them go to the landfill.
