Motorcycles Reported Speeding Down Sidewalk

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, party-goers threaten local residents, a suspicious woman possibly on drugs and a vandalized vehicle.

At 9:47 a.m. Friday, a caller reported reckless driving near the cross streets of Avenida Victoria and Avenida Del Mar. Three people were riding on dark motorcycles and speeding up and down the sidewalks.

Also:

At 11:12 p.m. Thursday, someone called to report a disturbance in the 100 block of Avenida Cordoba. A group of about 15 party-goers was threatening the caller and her young son.

At 10 a.m. Friday, a concerned caller told deputies about a suspicious person in the 200 block of San Andreas. A 35-year-old woman behind the local Morman Church was unloading personal items out of her white sedan, then ran to hide behind the bushes. Orange County firefighters were called to the scene to tend  the woman’s rapid heart rate, which may have been drug-induced.

At 12:23 p.m. Friday, a call of vandalism came in for the 200 block of Avenida Rosa. The caller's vehicle had been vandalized by an unknown person.

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
