Deputies Arrest Woman Seen Stumbling Out of Her Car

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a merciless mugging, a man who speaks to shrubbery, and a suspicious man on drugs near a school is arrested.

At 12:42 a.m. Friday Nov.1, a worried caller reported a drunk woman near the cross streets of Camino De Estrella and the I-5 Freeway. The caller stated a woman in a black Honda stumbled out of her car to go into a gas station store. The informant also claimed the woman could barely stand up. Deputies quickly arrived and arrested the 20-year-old woman. She has since been released from jail.

At 3:17 a.m. Friday Nov. 1, a caller reported battery in the 100 block of Avenida San Gabriel. The man claimed three men jumped him. The caller also believed to know the men responsible.

At 11 a.m. Friday Nov. 1, a concerned caller told deputies about a suspicious person in the 800 block of Avenida Pico. A shirtless man was hiding behind some bushes in a local parking lot. The caller was worried because the man was also talking to the bushes.

At 3:40 p.m. Friday Nov. 1, deputies received a call for assistance in the 3100 block of Avenida Del Presidente. A man in a red flannel was loitering near Concordia Elementary School and was believed to be on drugs. Deputies and the Orange County firefighters arrived and arrested the 48-year-old man. He has since been released from jail.
