At 12:15 a.m. Friday, someone reported a disturbance in the 400 block of Calle Familia. The caller explained deputies had been to her house earlier that evening to settle a dispute between her and her husband. The woman stated she was calling deputies a second time because her husband immediately began threatening her once the deputies had left.

At 11:45 a.m. Friday, deputies received a call about a drunken driver near the cross streets of Camino Vera Cruz and Avenida Pico. The informant claimed a man had purchased three beers inside a local grocery store and was stumbling to his car. The man then drove away in a beige colored truck. Deputies tracked down the 40-year-old man and arrested him. The man has since been released from jail.
