CRIME REPORTS: Church Vandalized with Swastika Graffiti; Bar Fistfight

Here are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services dispatch log over the past few days.

At 3:16 p.m. Monday, police assisted firefighters in the 200 block of Avenida Monteray. According to the report, a baby had stopped breathing and medics responded to resuscitate the infant. The baby was breathing by the time units arrived and was transported to Mission Hospital.

At 8:33 a.m. Monday, police arrested a 19-year-old-man in the 200 block of Avenida La Pata. The man was at the with less than an ounce of marijuana. Police pulled a previous warrant on the young man and took him into custody. There was no posted bail amount. 

At 1:26 a.m. Monday, a caller reported a stolen vehicle in the 1100 block of Calle Del Cerro. A 2006 Dodge was stolen from the Whispering Winds apartment complex.

At 4:33 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported weapons being brandished in the 200 block of Entrada Paraiso. According to the report, four minors were seen with rifles. The informant was unsure if the weapons were real. 

At 9:54 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported acts of vandalism in the 2700 block of Camino De Estrella. The Palisades Church was spray painted with swastikas and garden hoses were turned on and caused flooding.

At 1:51 a.m. Sunday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 200 block of El Camino Real. According to the report, a fight had broken out between six subjects behind .

At 1:00 p.m. Sunday, police were called to keep the peace near the Avenida Aragon and Calle Puente. A woman’s soon to be ex-husband was reportedly destroying her property, and police were needed to make him stop.

At 6:57 p.m. Sunday, police arrested a 21-year-old-man near the 100 block of Avenida De La Estrella. According to the report, the man was detained on account of a robbery near the . The man was taken into custody and has since been released on doctors orders. 

At 12:08 a.m. Saturday, police were called to investigate a person down near the North El Camino Real and Avenida Palizada intersection. A man was passed out underneath a black truck between the restaurant and . 

At 12:40 a.m. Saturday, a caller reported a disturbance in the 300 block of Calle Neblina. Three subjects were reportedly throwing glass bottles for over 15 minutes in a church parking lot next to the informant’s complex.
