Crime: Teens Break into Garage

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: Also, a loud feud, a man talking to himself inside his vehicle and a group of underage drinkers.

At 9:19 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, a caller to the sheriff's department reported a group of suspicious teens in the 300 block of Paseo De Cristobal. The caller stated she had caught three teenagers breaking into the neighbor’s garage. All three teens fled the residence.

At 2:23 a.m. Tuesday, July 23, someone reported a disturbance in the 0 block of Marbella. A man and a woman were in a loud verbal fight inside a local residence. The informant stated the fighting was an ongoing issue and believed the spats were drug-induced.

At 3:38 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, a caller reported a suspicious person in the 900 block of Avenida Pico. A man inside a Honda was screaming and talking to himself.

At 12:10 a.m. Wednesday, a caller told deputies about a suspicious circumstance in the 3700 block of El Camino Real. The informant claimed a group of men and women about 20 years old were drinking beer and smoking marijuana in the parking lot.

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
