Troublesome Teens Run Amuck

SHERIFF'S BLOTTER: A group of teens disturbs a local grocery store, others run through a drive-through, and yet another group is caught skateboarding on stair railings.

At 12:49 a.m. Saturday Sept. 21, a confused caller reported a pair of suspicious people in the 100 block of Marquita. Two teens were lying underneath the informant’s black car. The called phoned he sheriff’s office again at 3:36 a.m., stating that 20 teenagers were now on his balcony and standing on his truck.

Also:

At 7:18 p.m. Friday Sept. 20, someone reported a disturbance in the 800 block of Avenida Pico. A group of teens was disturbing the peace inside a local store.

At 10 p.m. Friday Sept. 20, deputies received a report of a disturbance in the 600 block of Avenida Pico. Six teens were running through a fast food drive-through.

At 3:17 p.m. Saturday Sept. 21, a caller told deputies about a disturbance in the 200 block of El Oriente. A group of teens was skateboarding on stair railings.

These are selected reports from the San Clemente Police Dispatch Services log throughout the past few days. The calls represent what was told to a sheriff's deputy in the field by the radio dispatcher. No presumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
