CRIME REPORTS: Water Balloon Snipers, Hosing Down Neighbor Kids

These are various reports pulled from the San Clemente Police Services Dispatch log over the past few days.

At 8:28 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a suspicious person in a vehicle near the 100 block of Avenida Del Reposo. According to the report, a man and a woman were seen shooting up drugs in a four-door red sedan. 

At 4:33 p.m. Monday, a caller reported a grand theft in the 3200 block of Avenida Del Presidente. The informant reported their white Giant bicycle was stolen from the garage. 

At 4:25 p.m. Monday, police were called to assist a citizen in the 1100 block of Calle Sonara. A woman was reportedly harassing her neighbor's children and sprayed them with a hose.

At 8:54 a.m. Monday, police assisted firefighters in the 400 block of Avenida San Juan. According the report, a 23-year-old-man had stopped breathing from a heroin overdose. None of the bystanders had started CPR and the Orange County Fire Authority was responding to the call.

At 7:35 p.m. Sunday, police were called to a patrol check near the Calle Nuevo and Via Amapola intersection. The informant was reportedly hit by four water balloons as he drove by the intersection. The subjects who threw the water balloons were never seen.

At 3:09 p.m. Sunday, a caller reported a petty theft in the 500 block of Camino De Estrella. A female minor was detained for stealing from Sears. She was reportedly being cooperative and was released to her parents. 

At 10:12 p.m. Saturday, police arrested a 33-year-old-man in the first block of Calle Almeja. According to the report, the man was high from drinking a natural herb, then hit and strangled his wife. Dispatchers could hear the man screaming in the background.

At 10:02 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a drunk driver near the Avenida Palizada and El Camino Real intersection. The informant reported seeing a Cadillac CTS wagon swerving all over the road. 

At 9:59 p.m. Saturday, police assisted a citizen in the 200 block of Calle Cuervo. A woman suspected her 52-year-old ex-husband was stalking her around the neighborhood. She reportedly saw his car parked around the corner. 

At 8:20 p.m. Saturday, police arrested a 32-year-old man in the 100 block of Marquita for being drunk in public. The man was seen passed out on the ground and was taken into custody as he was in violation of a parole.
