Bath Salts, Fake Pot Seller's License Revoked

The city of San Clemente revoked the business license of Tobacco and Accessories, raided by sheriff's deputies in June for selling designer drugs illegal in the state.

The city of San Clemente revoked the business license of a shop selling synthetic marijuana and dangerous stimulant "bath salts"

The owner of Tobacco and Accessories, a San Clemente business on Via Cascadita earlier this summer, according to a release from the city of San Clemente.

Bath salts is the street name for a designer drug linked to delusions, violence and death, including a bizarre incident in which a Miami man attacked a homeless man and ate portions of his face.

Deputies in June arrested 38-year-old Eiad Diab, the business owner, for allegedly selling the substance.

A hearing was held on June 29 to revoke the license. The owners of Tobacco and Accessories were notified of the hearing and following the hearing the business license was revoked, according to the release from the city.
