The San Clemente City Council Tuesday approved various items involving the town's water and transportation infrastructure.
The city is set to enter a grant application to rehab Camino de los Mares and Avenida Vaquero, as well as a grant application to improve the off-road bike trail along Avenida La Pata and other bicycle route improvements.
If the city wins them, the grants will bring in $318,000 and $1.18 million, respectively.
The city also awarded a $118,000 contract to SANCON Engineering for storm drain rehab, and approved a $30,000 addition to a $250,000 contract to improve the computer controls that run the city's sewer system.
