Egg Hunt and 'Splashtacular' Set for March 30

The City of San Clemente will host its yearly Easter celebration at the Vista Hermosa Sports Park.

It’s the great big egg hunt children look forward to each year. On Saturday, March 30th be sure to start your day at the City of San Clemente’s Sensational Springtacular with a pancake breakfast for a nominal fee prepared by the San Clemente Kiwanis Club.

The event is scheduled from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Vista Hermosa Sports Park at 987 Avenida Vista Hermosa in San Clemente.

Children can enjoy visits with the Easter bunny, play games, make crafts, decorate cupcakes and enjoy the other activities planned (for a nominal fee). The Egg Hunt activity, which has been generously donated by the Friends of San Clemente Beaches, Parks & Recreation Foundation, begins promptly at 11:15 a.m. for children age 10 and under.

The excitement doesn’t stop there! Hop on over to the San Clemente Aquatics Center right after for Splashtacular with the Snorkel Bunny. Join the San Clemente Lifeguards during Recreation Swim for an afternoon of splash and water games and a BBQ Lunch by the SC Aquatics Team (for a nominal fee). Standard fees apply for pool entry.

ACTIVITIES SCHEDULE

  • San Clemente Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast - $5 includes
    pancakes, sausage, juice or milk, $1 for coffee or water
  • Crafts, Games, Giant Slide, Car Rides and visits with the
    Easter Bunny
  • Giant Egg Hunt (for children age 10 years and under)
  • Recreation Swim (standard pool fees apply for entry)
  • SC Aquatics Swim Team BBQ Lunch (nominal fee)
