Chamber to Host Candidate Forum Thursday

As the City of San Clemente approaches the November 2012 elections, it is important to know where our future political leaders stand on the issues that impact our community.


The San Clemente Chamber of Commerce believes that
an informed electorate is a critical component of a viable democracy. It is our duty to keep the business community informed about the candidates and issues affecting our city.

With that in mind, the Chamber is hosting a Candidates Forum on Thursday, Sept. 27 at St. Andrew’s by-the-Sea UMC, 2001 Calle Frontera at 6:00 p.m.


This event is key in helping our businesses & the community to stay up-to-date on critical matters facing our City.

Each candidate will give an opening statement, followed by a series of pre-composed questions and questions from the audience.

The candidates will be given a brief time to address the questions, and the forum will conclude with closing statements.


The City Council Candidates Forum is an opportunity for you to learn about those candidates running for the open council seats and how they plan to meet the present and future needs of the City of San Clemente.


Forum is open to the public and free of charge – Coffee and snacks will be provided.
