Pedestrian and bicycle advocate Brenda Miller presented several videos to the San Clemente Planning Commission Wednesday in advance of their decision on the city's General Plan, a massive documents that guides development in the city over the next decade..
The bicycle element will be integrated into the city's circulation element of the General Plan.
Miller's chosen videos highlighted city planning decisions in Europe and New York City that increased bicycling and pedestrian travel significantly by making roadways safe, calming traffic and incorporating safety and signaling features specific to bicycles.
