Want news about what’s going on the city of San Clemente? Well, of course, there’s always San Clemente Patch. But you can also get gritty, municipal details straight from the horse’s mouth.
City Manager Pall Gudgeirsson announced Tuesday that he is now producing a newsletter to keep residents informed on recent developments.
“Our highest priority is service to our citizens of San Clemente,” said Gudgeirsson in a news release. “This newsletter allows for a direct forum from the city manager to our citizens in an informal manner, and is designed to provide quick snapshots of current and relevant issues and projects.”
The newsletter will not be released on any set schedule, said city spokeswoman Laura Campagnolo.
“We are just sending out a newsletter when there is information to be distributed,” she said.
To sign up to receive the newsletter by email go to the city’s website and click on the “city manager’s report” under the “what’s trending” tab on the left.
The first edition features a graffiti hotline, new exercise equipment on the Coastal Trail and more.
