San Clemente Mayor Invites You to Break Bread with Him

Now you can literally break bread with the mayor.

San Clemente Mayor Bob Baker will be holding “meet the mayor” office hours outside of City Hall. The first one is scheduled from 8:30-10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12 at Panera Bread in Talega.

“Many residents, especially those with families, can’t make it to City Hall, and though we have tools available for residents to communicate with elected officials, nothing replaces face-to-face communication,” said Mayor Baker.

“My goal is to make City Hall more accessible to residents by bringing not only myself to them, but on occasion, also bringing department heads and managers to meet our residents to discuss issues and concerns of importance to them in a convenient, neutral setting,“ he said.
