The California Department of Motor Vehicles' San Clemente field office will reopen on schedule Monday after a month of repairs.
The branch, first opened in 1983, was closed because workers replacing the roof found mold, which contractors had to remove, according to a release from the department.
The office, which closed Feb. 15, is at 2727 Via Cascadita. The 21 employees at the 8,100-square-foot office handle 300 to 400 customers daily, according to a DMV release.
Until Monday, motorists -- or wannabe motorists -- are directed to use the following branches:
- Laguna Hills, 23535 Moulton Parkway
- Oceanside, 4005 Plaza Drive
- Costa Mesa, 650 W. 19th St.
