Feast From the Heart

Twice a year the San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club participates in a program called Feast from the Heart.  The club members donate all of the food and their time to prepare, serve, and clean up after a meal for the families currently residing in the Ronald McDonald House in Orange, CA.  This year the members served up some yummy chili with cupcakes for dessert.  The club members also collect pop tops every month which in turn are donated to the Ronald McDonald House. The dollars raised from the pop tops are used for operations and supplies for the Ronald McDonald House.

The idea behind the Orange County Ronald McDonald House is simple: provide a comfortable and affordable “home away from home” for families shouldering the burdens associated with a child who is being treated at a nearby hospital.
