Junior Woman’s Club lights 66 candles

The organization continues to support community projects.

The San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club celebrated 66 years of bringing service to the community by honoring its past presidents and coordinators at a dinner on February 10 at the RIO Adult Day Health Care Center.

The San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club was founded in 1948 with help from the San Clemente Women’s Club. The San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club is a group of women dedicated to supporting local charitable organizations in the community by raising funds and awareness and volunteering their time.  Each year the club donates thousands of dollars and over 3,500 hours to local philanthropies. For more information on the San Clemente Junior Woman’s Club, email info@scjwc.org.  The club meets the second Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the RIO Adult Day Health Care Center, located at 2021 Calle Frontera.  For more information, visit www.scjwc.org.
