Blood and Marrow Drive Set for SCHS

The Be A Hero, Become a Donor club organizes its latest drive, aiming to supply a third of the blood used in San Clemente.

The Be a Hero, Become a Donor Club at San Clemente High School needs your help to them reach their goal of bringing a third of the blood supply used at our local hospital last year back to our community.

Two bloodmobiles will be located in the Pico parking lot at San Clemente High School from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 28. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred.

Please go online to www.mysdbb.org and enter sponsor code "SCLM." The club will also be running a marrow registry where potential donors can swab their cheek to save the life.
